Nice to meet you. My name is Joanna, an east coast based User Experience designer.
After a decade in the professional world admiring the design work of my colleagues, I devoted quarantine to honing my user design and research abilities, while incorporating the valuable skills I've developed in my previous career. I've proudly worked as a full-time UX designer in this field since April 2021.
Through my work in end-user training, management and support, I can connect with the user’s perspective to create solutions. I’m excited to finally bring this insight into the design stage, where I can solve the customer’s problems and provide them what they need before they even ask.
Outside of work, I channel my creativity in all aspects of life. I love to illustrate and craft homemade gifts, experiment with new recipes, travel wherever a cheap flight takes me as often as possible, incorporating each new experience into my life back home.
